Architectural barriers felling fund in Emilia Romagna
The resources of the architectural barrier removal fund are intended to finance building interventions both within the apartments and in the common parts of the building aimed at overcoming or removing architectural barriers that constitute an obstacle to the bearers of permanent impaiments or functional limitations.
Requests for contributions must be submitted in the municipality where the apartment subject to the construction intervention is located by March 1st of each year (the term defines only the year of the list in which the application will fall). The minutes of a public disability assessment commission (civil disability, disability, inail, etc.) must be attached.
The municipalities pass on the needs to the Region, which distributes the available funding, and then the municipalities themselves provide contributions to those entitled.
From 1 March 2014 with a single question it is possible to enter two rankings:
- National ranking funded by law No. 13/1989;
- The regional ranking, established under regional law No. 24/2001 and subsequent amendments and the decision of the Regional Council No. 171/2014.
The rankings are parallel:
- in the national (currently unfunded) where the funds come from the state budget, the criteria for the formation of the ranking are the date of application and the disability category. Applications for total disabled people with walking difficulties take precedence;
- In the region where the funds come from the regional budget, the criteria for the formation of the ranking are the value of the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) income of the invalid household and the disability category. Applications for total disabled people with walking difficulties take precedence.
There are no income limits to access the two rankings.
From this page, authorized users (Communities) can access the regional application for forwarding the necessary data for the management of requests for contributions for the removal of architectural barriers.
