SALE OF WHEEL AND TRACK STAIRS FOR SENIORS
Mobility Care has decades of experience in the sale of wheeled and tracked stairlifts for the elderly. With our products we are able to support those who have difficulty walking or need a wheelchair during daily commute and wish to be able to access any place outside the home.
The sale of stairlifts for the elderly represents the core business of Mobility Care; these aids have a capacity ranging from 130 kg to 150 kg and differ in two types of product:
The tracks can only be used on straight stairs with regular steps and with landings without goose-like ladder lap. Of course, there must be a minimum width of the ladder compartment that allows the vehicle to rotate with the assistance on board the machine. This aid allows you to carry the person only through the use of a wheelchair. During the ascent or descent of the stairs you can safely make a stop: the vehicle will remain stationary keeping in total safety for the person transported.
The wheeled stairlift can be used in two versions: 1. for the transport of people with slight walking difficulties in the solution with seat and padded back; 2. for the transport of people in wheelchairs with the version with platform. If its versatility makes it the strong point since it manages to overcome any type of ladder, the fact of not being able to stop during the direction of travel can present some more doubts in terms of safety.
Getting around the city on your own is still very complicated. The presence of differences in height of only a few centimeters creates obstacles such as to make the premises inaccessible affecting the life of elderly and disabled people on a psycho-physical level. The same problem arises when you have to visit a loved one inside an apartment building or a private house without electric stair climbers. For this reason Mobility Care offers a wide range of aids for overcoming architectural barriers inside and outside buildings.
Contact our staff for the sale of stairlifts for the elderly in order to obtain a practical and versatile solution that will guarantee you an easier life.
The use of an electric stairlift, thanks to a battery installed inside the vehicle, allows you to make multiple movements without having to resort to the presence of a stationary charging point.
These types of stairlifts prove to be practical to use and easily attach to the back of the wheelchair through a telescopic arm in order to carry the sitting person up and down the stairs in maximum safety and comfort.
WHY CHOOSE A SCALE MOUNT
Why choose a stairwell? Purchasing and installing a stairwell for sale at Mobility Care can greatly improve the quality of life when disabling diseases are replaced that hinder the autonomy of the elderly or disabled person in going up and down stairs. In this case, our elderly aids can be the ideal solution. Mobility Care recommends this type of product in case of:
- temporary incapacity such as an injury or short illness problem;
- scales too narrow to install an uplifter platform;
- lack of a nearby energy source in order to feed a servoscale;
- need access to outdoor environments in your home as you can easily disassemble to be placed inside the trunk of your car;
- limited spending budget given lower costs than other types of product;
- constant presence of a figure that guarantees the daily life of the primary functions of the assisted person.
Let us remember, however, that the best choice for convenience and that guarantees your independence remains the installation of a servo staircase or platform servo staircase; these allow to ensure full freedom in movements directly by the person with difficulty walking through the direct use of the motion controls present on the machine. The use of a stairlift instead implies the constant presence of a second person who manipulates the aid during the direction of travel.
BUYING A STAIRLIFT
Mobility Care is not just about selling wheeled and tracks for the elderly and maintaining them. The company offers a wide range of aids for the elderly and disabled with excellent value for money. There is no doubt of the advantages of buying a stairwell, but unfortunately due to lack of funds and civic sense, public premises do not always present fixed solutions such as servo ladder or lift platforms.
In Italy, according to Istat data from December 2016, the presence of disabled pupils during the 2015–2016 school year is 156,000, about 3.4% of the total pupils, of which 88,000 in primary school and about 68,000 in secondary school. Numbers set to rise thanks to the work done in recent years on the inclusion of students with disabilities. The latter, however, is still limited due to the inadequacy of many buildings due to the presence of architectural barriers. Suffice it to say that in primary schools still 12.9% of pupils with disabilities are not self-employed to move within their own school. The figure falls to 11.6% for pupils in the buildings for secondary school.
In these cases, the purchase of a modern design product such as Mobility Care’s scale lift for the elderly and disabled is the most congenial solution waiting to be able to obtain funding from the Institute in order to install a fixed salt lift so that it can be able to permanently solve the problem of accessibility of pupils within the premi
ses. The use of this aid must, however, be achieved by a person who has obtained instructions from the company itself. Mobility Care will also follow you in the post-sale of the stairs for the elderly. Our technicians will provide all the information at the time of delivery so that you can use the product right away. In case the stairlift stops at half scale you can, knowing the necessary emergency procedures, manually return the person to the desired floor through the appropriate maneuver with the handling device.
By purchasing one of the many scales for sale in our product range you will benefit from the 4% VAT in addition to the Irpef deduction of 19% as long as you have the appropriate documentation issued by the ASL doctor. If you prefer to pay in installments, you can also access a zero-rate loan.
Our range of stairlifts is suitable for exceeding the scales according to the specific design techniques outlined in Articles 4.1.10 and 8.1.10 of the Ministerial Decree 236 of 14 June 1989, which prescribes the technical specifications that guarantee the accessibility, adaptability and visibility of private buildings and subsidised and facilitated public housing to ensure the overcoming and removal of architectural barriers. They also respond to Article 7 of the D.P.R. 24 July 1996, which regulates the removal of architectural barriers in buildings, spaces and public services and Article 19.3 of the same Decree which provides for the use of mobile equipment not anchored to building structures in order to to overcome architectural barriers in buildings where, for historical and aesthetic value of the protected asset, it does not allow the installation of fixed installations. You will also benefit from the facilities provided by Law 13 of 9 January 1989, which collects the provisions in order to facilitate the overcoming of architectural barriers in private buildings.
In addition to selling wheeled and cilers for the elderly, Mobility Care also sells servo scales for the elderly such as armchair servo and platform servo staircase, domestic elevators, elevators and ramps that can eliminate so architectural barriers in and out of the home.
